The holy month of Ramadan is considered by the Muslim world as the ideal season for performing Umrah. This time, the Saudi Arabian authorities have taken a strict decision in this regard. A ban has been issued to perform Umrah more than once during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to a report in Gulf News on Sunday, permission will not be given to perform Umrah or short Hajj more than once during the month of Ramadan. In addition, Umrah pilgrims have been requested not to stay in Makkah-Madinah for a long time in this holy month.
Meanwhile, according to Saudi local media, the authorities have decided to allow new people to perform Umrah and avoid overcrowding.
According to Nusak, the Saudi government provides all Umrah information services through the app. As a result, if the same person applies for performing Umrah for the second time through this app, his application will not be accepted. However, a new person can apply from the app.
During the holy month of Ramadan, many pilgrims from around the world, including Saudis, flock to the Grand Mosque to perform Umrah. That’s why the Saudi authorities have taken this new step to ensure Muslims perform Umrah uninterruptedly and without suffering.
