The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson was asked about such a situation in Bangladesh on Tuesday.

In response, he said, as a friendly neighbor and strategic partner, China hopes that social stability will return to Bangladesh soon.

Sheikh Hasina, who fled to India, is now staying there. The country’s foreign minister S Jaishankar said that Sheikh Hasina has sought asylum from them on an emergency basis ‘within a short period of time’.

At this time, Hasina also said that she will stay in India for a short time.

Jaishankar said Hasina sought permission to come to India for a short-term stay at very short notice.

The Indian foreign minister also told the country’s parliament that they are monitoring the current situation in Bangladesh. Jaishankar also expressed hope that the Bangladesh government would ensure the security of the Indian High Commission.

He said, we expect that the Bangladesh government will ensure the security of the Indian High Commission.

The Indian minister also said that there were 20,000 Indian citizens in Bangladesh. At least 8,000 of them have returned. He also said that their focus will be on the minorities.

Sheikh Hasina is expected to go to UK from India. However, UK has indicated not to grant political asylum to Hasina.

The spokesperson of the country’s Ministry of Home Affairs told the Indian media NDTV that they have immigration laws; There is no provision for a person to travel to the UK and claim political or general asylum.

Instead, he asked Sheikh Hasina to stay in India.
