The Philippines thanked the G-7 alliance

For the past few months, there has been a fierce dispute between China and the Philippines over the territorial waters in the South China Sea. The two countries even clashed several times in disputed waters. However, China always blames the Philippines for this conflict situation.

In such a situation, the G7 alliance of seven major developed economies stands by Manila. The G7 alliance has opposed Beijing’s militarization and intimidation in the South China Sea by supporting the Philippines. The Philippines thanked the Alliance for its support of RG7.

Philippine-based media Philister Global reported this information in a report on Sunday. The G7 recently called for the rejection of China’s baseless and expansive claims in the South China Sea and an end to China’s illegal activities in the sea. The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) of the Philippines welcomed the G7 foreign ministers’ statement.
