Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has claimed that there are only two leaders in the world today.

Erdogan said that there are only two experienced leaders in the world today. I myself and Russian President Vladimir Putin. I am not saying this because I am one of them.

He said that I have been in power for 22 years, almost close to Putin. Others have left. And we want the dialogue to continue between us.

It is very important to continue the dialogue in politics. For example, after the resignation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, politics has also ended in Germany.

Erdogan also said that he respected former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder very much. He had a different sense of respect for us and he was really a very good leader. For example, during Ramadan, he never drank beer at our iftar table. He showed great respect for Muslims.

The Turkish leader said that our dialogue with Schroeder is still ongoing and that we still have dialogue or discussions with him when he visits Turkey from time to time.
