The conflict between Israel and Hamas has been going on for eight months. Where it ends is unknown. A new war situation is on the way in this ongoing conflict.

A major war situation has developed between Israel and the Lebanese resistance fighters Hezbollah. However, even though the United States agrees to the conflict with Hamas, Tel Aviv’s close ally, the United States, has started efforts to prevent the upcoming war.

A special envoy of the White House said that the United States is working to prevent a major war with Israel and Hezbollah.

During a visit to Lebanon on Tuesday, White House Special Envoy Amos Hochstein said the Iran-backed group Hezbollah has engaged in small-scale attacks with Israel. In this situation, a new war situation has arisen. So the US is working to prevent a new war. Hezbollah has been attacking Tel Aviv since the Israeli attack on Gaza in October last year.

Attacks on the border between Israel and Lebanon have been ongoing for the past eight months. Just last week, Lebanese resistance fighters Hezbollah launched hundreds of rocket and drone strikes targeting Israeli military forces. An Israeli military commander was killed.

The special envoy of the US President Joe Biden met with the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, a close ally of Hezbollah. In that meeting, he called for a quick solution to this crisis.

After meeting with Nabih Berri, Hochstein told reporters, “Over the past few weeks, we’ve been noticing new tensions in the region.” Therefore, the Biden administration is working to stop this newly created tension.

This special envoy of Biden went to Beirut on Monday to meet with the Israeli authorities. According to the report of the Israeli media Haaretz, the US special envoy has warned about the ongoing tension with Hezbollah. If the conflict with the resistance fighters in Lebanon continues, an Iranian attack on Israel may occur at any time.

Hochstein said that the conflict with Israel and Hezbollah has been going on for a long time. This issue should be resolved diplomatically as soon as possible and it is urgent.

Hizbullah announced to stop attacks on Israel on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, which started on Sunday. And at this time, Biden’s special envoy went on a trip to Lebanon. It is believed that his visit will spread hope in establishing peace in the region.

Although the attacks stopped temporarily around Eid-ul-Azha, Hezbollah says that if the war in Gaza does not stop, they will not stop their attacks in the northern part of Israel.

Recently, Hezbollah has informed that since October 8 last year, they have conducted more than 2,100 military operations in Israel.

According to the report of the news agency AFP, 473 people have been killed in the Lebanese part of the ongoing conflict between Hezbollah and Israel. Most of them are members of the Lebanese resistance fighters and 92 are civilians.

On the other hand, Israeli authorities say that 15 of their soldiers and 11 civilians were killed in the attack by Hezbollah.
