US National Security Advisor meets Jaishankar

Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met White House National Security Advisor Jack Sullivan. In the meeting, the two top leaders discussed the progress of the India-US strategic partnership and global issues in a wide range of ways.
This was reported by the Indian media Hindustan Times in a report on Friday (December 27).
It said that Jaishankar also met US Secretary of State Antony Blinken during his 6-day (December 24-29) visit to America. This visit is considered very significant after Donald Trump took office as the US President. Sources said that he may also hold discussions with Trump’s team.
Jaishankar spoke to Indian Consul Generals in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Houston, and Atlanta.
In a post on social media X about the meeting with Jack Sullivan, Jaishankar said that they had a wide-ranging discussion on the progress of the India-US strategic partnership. They also exchanged views on current regional and global developments.
Meanwhile, before the meeting with Jaishankar, US National Security Advisor Jack Sullivan called Dr. Yunus, the Chief Advisor to the Interim Government of Bangladesh, on Monday. They also discussed several issues.
The White House has issued a statement on this conversation. It says that Sullivan thanked Chief Advisor Yunus for leading Bangladesh in adverse circumstances. At the same time, both of them pledged to respect and protect the human rights of all people regardless of religion. Jack Sullivan also said that America will do everything possible to build a prosperous, stable and democratic Bangladesh.
