Warning of artificial flood in 10 regions of Oman, special warning issued

The Meteorological Department of the country has predicted artificial floods in 10 regions of Oman, including the capital Muscat, from 12 noon on Sunday. In the meantime, the administration has issued a 4-day warning for heavy rains.

Some of the areas that are most likely to be affected by artificial flooding have been named. They are-
1. Muscat
2. Musandam
3. North Al Batinah
4. South Al Batinah
5. Al Buraimi
6. Al Dakhiliya
7. Al Usta
8. Dhofar
9. Al Dhahirah
10. The answer is al-Sharqiyyah

According to the weather forecast, there will be rain and bad weather in 10 regions of Oman, including the capital Muscat, from Sunday to Wednesday under the influence of low pressure. As a result artificial flooding may occur in different areas.

According to data from Oman’s National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Center, along with increasing water pressure on the coast, the height of the waves will also increase. At this time, the wind speed will increase with heavy rain of 30 to 120 mm. In view of the risk, everyone is advised to be cautious in the meantime.
