11 members of the same family were killed in a road accident in the Philippines

At least 11 members of the same family were killed when a passenger bus collided with a truck in the Philippines. Apart from this, at least 3 people were seriously injured.

The bus collided with a truck on a southbound highway in the country’s northern Cagayan province early on Thursday (July 11). The bus dragged the truck for about 20 meters and the passengers of the truck were thrown onto the road.

Antonio Palatao, the country’s police officer, said that the Toyota Hilux model truck was passing the highway with 14 members of the same family. At that time, the truck collided with a passenger bus coming from the other side. In this incident, all the members of the truck passengers were killed, but all the passengers of the bus were unharmed.

The rescue workers said that the driver and helper of the passenger bus were seriously injured but all the 23 passengers were unharmed.
