
4.7 magnitude earthquake in Pakistan

A magnitude 4.7 earthquake hit parts of Pakistan’s capital Islamabad and northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The tremor was felt at 4:17 a.m. local time on Wednesday. However, no casualty or damage was immediately reported. News from Arab News and Express Tribune.
The origin of the earthquake was 98 km underground.
According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake was also felt in Pakistan’s neighboring countries Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. On March 13, an earthquake of magnitude 5.3 struck Pakistan’s Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. However, no damage information was found in that earthquake. Its origin was 130 kilometers deep underground.
