9241 students killed in Israeli attack in Gaza

At least 9,241 students have been killed in Israeli attacks in the Palestinian Gaza Strip from October 7 to Wednesday. During this time 15 thousand 182 students were injured. The Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education reported this information.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Education, the number of students killed in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the Israeli invasion is more than 9,241. Apart from this, another 14 thousand 671 people were injured. At the same time, 103 students were killed and 505 injured in an attack by Israeli forces in the West Bank. Apart from this, 357 people were arrested.

Since the Israeli attack, 620,000 students in the Gaza Strip have been deprived of going to school. 88 thousand students are deprived of university education. The Israeli occupation has deprived 39,000 students in the Gaza Strip of taking high school exams. Most students suffer from trauma. They face difficult health conditions.

The Ministry of Education also reported that 497 teachers and administrators have been killed and 3,426 injured in the Gaza Strip and West Bank since the beginning of the Israeli occupation, and more than 357 have been arrested in the West Bank. It is mentioned that 353 government schools, universities, university buildings and 65 educational institutions run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency in the Gaza Strip were destroyed in the bombing.

Of these, 139 educational institutions in Gaza and the West Bank were severely damaged and 93 were completely destroyed. In addition, 69 schools and 5 universities in the West Bank were also attacked and vandalized. Apart from this, 133 government schools used as shelters in the Gaza Strip were also damaged by the Israeli aggression.
