Since last October 7, the occupying Israeli forces have been carrying out inhumane attacks on Gaza. Not only did they attack, they also blocked the entire valley. Even children are not spared from the brutal killings of the soldiers.
The continuous attacks of the Israeli forces have also created an extreme humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The whole of Gaza has been reduced to rubble due to the bombing. Similarly, the list of hungry people is increasing by leaps and bounds.
According to the United Nations, 80 percent of the world’s hungry people live in Gaza. Recently, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the right to food, Michael Fakhri, gave this information.
According to the report, 2.3 million people live in the coastal areas of the country. Those who are going through severe famine and catastrophic hunger. UN experts say everyone in Gaza is now starving. 1/4th of them are starving.
Fakhri said, in the history of war, there is no record of famine and starvation of any nation at such a rapid rate. He commented that the famine of 2.3 million Palestinians in the region is unprecedented. Famine has been deliberately imposed on the Palestinian people since the illegal establishment of Israel 76 years ago. From that time the history of displacement of the Palestinian people began. Since then, Israel has turned to the policy of starving the Palestinian people, the UN correspondent noted.
UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric recently emphasized the important role of UNRWA in helping the people of the Gaza Strip. The spokesman added that the humanitarian situation in Gaza has also left disaster. Food aid distributions fell by 35 percent compared to July.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli aggression has severely damaged 80 percent of the houses and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip. At the same time, the brutal siege has led to a serious humanitarian crisis of unprecedented famine and hunger. Stephane Dujarric also expressed concern that the residents of the area are in danger of losing their lives.
Meanwhile, experts said that there are 335,000 children under the age of five in Gaza. Those suffering from malnutrition. The number of hungry is increasing across the valley. Experts fear that an entire generation is going to be at risk of malnutrition. But not only in Gaza. Israel continues to attack and occupy the occupied West Bank of Palestine. Although the West has condemned the attacks in the West Bank, the countries have continued to supply arms and ammunition.
