The Yemeni armed forces have released video footage of the attack on the bulk ship Cyclades towards Zionist Israel.
Yemen’s Al-Masira television reported that yesterday (Tuesday) several attack drones were used to attack an Israeli port-bound ship in the Red Sea.
In the video released on Tuesday night, a drone can be seen flying in the sky from an unknown location and after a while it moves towards a ship moving in the sea. At one point in the video taken from the camera mounted on the drone, it can be seen crashing into the master bridge of the ship.
Yemeni armed forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sariyi said on Tuesday that they attacked two US destroyers and two Israeli ships in the Red Sea and Indian Ocean in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.
Describing these attacks as successful, Sariyi said that the Yemeni Navy, Air Force and missile units participated in the attack and the operation was well-organized and successful.
He said the attacks on the Cyclades ship in the Red Sea and the MSC Orion ship in the Indian Ocean had been carried out using “deceptive and insidious” methods. Both commercial vessels were bound for Israel’s southern port of Eilat.
General Sariyi emphasized that these military operations are being carried out in solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and in the interest of protecting Yemen’s own sovereignty. He also warned that attacks on ships associated with Israel will continue until Israel’s genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip is stopped.
