Abduction of Imran Khan’s political adviser

Ghulam Shabbir, a political adviser to Pakistan’s jailed former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, was allegedly abducted from Lahore.

Sabbir is the elder brother of PTI leader Shahbaz Gill. Shahbaz was special assistant to former Prime Minister Imran Khan. News from The Express Tribune

Pakistani newspaper Express Tribune reported that Shabbir’s son Bilal has filed an FIR at Kahana police station regarding Shabbir’s abduction.

It said that Shabbir was going to Islamabad from Khayaban-e-Amin’s house in Lahore late at night two days ago. On the way, unknown persons abducted him. Details about this are not known.

Imran was ousted in April 2022. Since then, he has been in jail since August last year after being convicted in more than two hundred cases.
