Due to the Iran-Israel conflict, the war may spread throughout the Middle East

Iran is desperate to avenge the deadly Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria. Iran, one of the most influential countries in the Middle East, can attack Israeli territory or installations at any moment. That apprehension filled the mind of the United States as well.

In the past, the United States has declared its support for Israel, knowing that Iran could launch an attack or have the ability to do so. Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations said that Iran would not have been so angry if the Security Council had condemned the Israeli aggression or brought them to justice.
Meanwhile, although Israel did not accept responsibility for the attack, the US and Israeli forces in the region have been put on high alert for fear of a retaliatory attack by Damascus since Iran’s warning message. Security has even been beefed up in their facilities. All Israeli army holidays have already been cancelled. With so much preparation, military experts fear that a regional war may spread in the Middle East very quickly.
International intelligence agencies and media say that Iran has prepared all kinds of attacks. Tehran can strike Israeli interests anywhere in the Middle East at any time. In such an emerging situation, Russia and Germany called on the countries of the Middle East to be restrained. Germany’s foreign minister called for “maximum restraint” in a phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian to avoid escalating tensions. The Russian Foreign Ministry has advised its citizens not to travel to the Middle East, particularly Israel, Lebanon and the Palestinian territories.
US President Joe Biden stands by Israel amid fears of Iran’s counterattack. He also pledged strong support for Israel if Iran attacks. Also, in a statement from the US State Department, Secretary of State Blinken reiterated US support for Israel’s security. He made it clear that the United States will stand by Israel against any threat from Iran and its proxies.
