
US sends general to Israel to give ‘war advice’ due to fear of Iran

The source also said that General Kurila will also discuss the issue of Israeli operations and relief supplies in Gaza with Israeli military experts and policy makers. In this regard, the chief spokesman of the Israeli military, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, said that General Kurila “conducted a situational assessment” and reviewed “regional security challenges” with the chief of the Israeli military.
Meanwhile, according to a Wall Street Journal report, US intelligence has warned that Iran may attack Israel in the next 24 to 48 hours. They said that Tehran is preparing for this purpose.
The report cited the US intelligence report as saying that Tel Aviv is preparing to prevent a possible Iranian attack on Israeli soil.
Citing unnamed US intelligence officials in the report, Wall Street said the attack could be in northern or southern Israel. However, citing a source close to the Iranian government, Wall Street said that Tehran has not yet made a final decision about attacking Israel.
