
The bodies of five Israeli hostages were recovered in Gaza

The Israeli army (IDF) recovered the bodies of five Israeli hostages from the besieged Palestinian territory and the war-torn Gaza. Their bodies were recovered from the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis.
The Israeli army recovered the bodies from various houses in the city on Wednesday. It is reported that their bodies have already been sent to Israel.
The five dead are Ravid Katz (51), Oren Goldin (33), Maya Goren (56), Sergeant Kirill Brodsky (19) and Staff Sergeant Tomer Yaakov Ahimas (20).
The Israeli military said that many soldiers of the 98th Division and members of the Sin Beit organization raided Khan Yunis and recovered the bodies of these soldiers. Besides, the Israeli army refused to give detailed information.
On October 7, Hamas fighters attacked southern Israel. According to figures from the news agency AFP, 1,197 people were killed, most of them civilians. At that time, armed attackers took 251 hostages to Gaza. 111 of them are still being held in Gaza. The Israeli military said 39 of them were dead.
Israel started the war in Gaza in response to this attack. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, 39 thousand 145 people have been killed so far in the Israeli aggression.
