Even from his hospital bed, Chomsky did not forget about the Palestinian people

95-year-old Noam Chomsky is lying in a hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Several international media have reported that he is seriously ill after suffering a stroke. Yet, lying in a hospital bed, he talks about the Israeli invasion of Gaza.

The American has been speaking out against Israeli brutality for years. The Chomsky couple has been living in Brazil since 2015. Chomsky suffered a stroke in June last year. After this, health started to deteriorate. Now he is undergoing treatment in Brazil. At the end of his life, Noz Chomsky did not forget about the Palestinian people. He protested with his left fist from his bed after seeing the pictures of the Gaza war.

When Chomsky’s wife was contacted to inquire about his physical condition, she said that Chomsky was keeping an eye on the Israeli attack on Gaza in the Brazilian newspaper. In an interview with Al Jazeera just before he fell ill, Chomsky said Israel’s brutal blockade and barbaric invasion of Gaza was the “biggest crime” of our time.
