Former state attorney Moshe Lader has called on the Israeli Air Force’s reserve pilots to stop performing their voluntary duties.

He said the reason for the call was that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not yet been arrested despite sufficient evidence against him.

Lader warned that if the government resumes its controversial judicial reform plan, the reserve pilots should stop performing their duties.

Corruption case against Netanyahu

Israeli media reported that Netanyahu appeared in court for two days in a missile-proof hall in a case of serial corruption.

Netanyahu has been charged with fraud, breach of trust and bribery in three separate cases.

Netanyahu, however, denies the charges, calling them a “witch-hunt” carried out by the media and a biased legal system.

Gaza War and Public Pressure

In addition to the corruption case, Netanyahu, 75, has faced public anger over his failure to manage the Gaza war. In particular, his failure to return Israeli prisoners kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, 2023, has fueled public anger.
