Gunmen attack in Pakistan, 11 policemen killed

At least 11 policemen were killed and 7 injured in an attack by gunmen in Pakistan’s Punjab. The attack was carried out in Kacha town of Rahim Yar Khan area of the province on Thursday. News from Reuters.
According to the police, the policemen were patrolling the desert of Rahim Yar Khan area in search of robbers. At that time, bandits attacked their car with rocket launchers. They are believed to be robbers, not members of an armed group.
In Pakistan’s Punjab and Sindh provinces, the country’s security forces often conduct raids to suppress dacoits. These robbers hide in villages and forest areas. Sometimes they kidnap to earn money through ransom. They have also killed several police officers in attacks in recent months.
