Hezbollah claims drone attack on Israeli army headquarters

Hezbollah, the Lebanese armed group supported by Iran, claimed to have carried out a drone attack on the northern part of Israel on Sunday. The organization also claimed that several soldiers were killed. Al Jazeera news

A drone directly hit the headquarters of the Army’s 91st Division in Ayelet Hashahar in northern Israel.

Hezbollah said in a statement on Telegram, the medium of exchange of messages, that this counterattack was in response to the killing of the enemy Israel in the city of Al-Khaira in the Bekaa district of Lebanon.

A Lebanese was killed in an Israeli attack yesterday in the city of Bekaa. The latest attack further escalated tensions between Israel and Hezbollah.

Israel’s military and local authorities say an explosive-laden drone was launched from Lebanon on Sunday morning. It hit the Beit Hillel area.

The Israel Defense Forces, the IDF, said they fired a defensive missile but were unable to intercept it.

Hezbollah claimed the drone attack and said that they attacked the base of the Israeli army. A few hours after the first attack, the Israeli airspace was again attacked by drones. But Israel claims to resist it.

Israel and Hamas have been fighting in Gaza since October last year. The number of dead in Gaza has exceeded 37,000 so far in the attack of the Israeli forces. About 90 thousand were injured.

In this war, Hezbollah continues to attack Israel on behalf of the Palestinians. The group said that they will continue to attack Israel if it does not stop the Israeli aggression in Gaza.
