Hezbollah’s new campaign in Israel, the fear of a full-scale war is increasing

Tensions between Israel and Hezbollah are on the rise amid fears of a full-scale war between the two sides following recent Israeli terrorist attacks in Lebanon.

The Lebanese armed group said on Friday it had launched new operations in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza and in response to attacks by Israeli occupation forces in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah said it had directly hit Israel’s al-Malqiyya military position with artillery fire. Hezbollah’s Katyusha rockets hit the Ma’aleh Golani military base, the command headquarters of Harmon Brigade 810, as well as the Shomera and Metat bases.

The command headquarters of Israel’s Western Brigade in Yara Barracks was also targeted with rockets.

The armed group said it carried out 17 strikes on Israeli targets in the occupied Golan Heights in the Galilee and the occupied Kafarchouba Hills on Thursday.

Two Israeli soldiers were killed and 13 wounded in a Hezbollah missile and drone attack in northern Israel, the Israeli army has admitted.

The renewed offensive comes after Israel claims its airstrikes in Lebanon hit dozens of Hezbollah rocket launchers, including other infrastructure.

After Israeli terror attacks across Lebanon killed at least 37 people and wounded more than 3,000, tensions between Hezbollah and Israel are rising.

However, since Israel’s ground invasion of Gaza began, Lebanese Hezbollah fighters have regularly launched attacks inside Israel. They vowed that Hezbollah would continue its attacks until Israel stopped its aggression.
