Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport has been virtually shut down due to an attack by the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah.
Al-Mayadeen reported this information on Sunday, citing sources associated with the Israeli ruling group.
Israeli media reported that dozens of flights were canceled by foreign companies at Ben Gurion Airport, the largest international airport in the occupied territories. According to Israeli sources, authorities have announced the cancellation of 50 flights at Ben Gurion Airport.
At the same time, Ben Gurion Airport’s website has also been hacked, Israeli media reported.
Israeli media reported that some flights from Ben Gurion Airport landed at Ramon Airport and others at Cairo. Various sources said this happened due to rising tensions between Hezbollah and the Tel Aviv regime.
Israeli Channel Twelve reported that the decision was taken to ensure public safety amid recent tensions.
