Hospitalized Saudi king

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia has been hospitalized.

He was taken to King Faisal Specialized Hospital in Jeddah on Wednesday (April 24).

Reuters reports that Saudi King Salman has been admitted to hospital for a routine medical check-up. This test may take several hours.

Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz came to power in 2015. Then in May 2022, he was admitted with physical complications. At that time, he underwent a medical examination including a colonoscopy.

At that time, the country’s state media reported that King Salman was admitted to a hospital in Riyadh to replace the battery in his heart’s pacemaker.

The Saudi king previously underwent surgery to remove his gallbladder in 2020. There were various speculations about his physical condition at that time.
