Iran's complaint to the UN Atomic Energy Agency against Israel

Iran has been involved in a war with Israel for the independence of Palestine. In this context, Israel has been threatening to attack Iran’s nuclear sites. And Iran has conveyed this threat in the form of a complaint through a letter to the UN Atomic Energy Agency.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghai made the announcement at a weekly press conference on Monday. At that time, he spoke about Israel’s threat to nuclear sites.

Earlier, on October 1, Iran launched a ballistic missile attack on Israel. Israel warned of a counterattack on Iran in retaliation. In the attack, there has been widespread speculation that Iran’s nuclear sites may be targeted by Israel. In light of which, Iran has referred the matter to the UN.

In this regard, Baghai said, “The threat of attacking nuclear sites goes against the UN resolution…. We condemn it… We have sent a letter to the UN Atomic Energy Agency about it.” Baghai also said that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will visit Bahrain and Kuwait on Monday as part of Iran’s efforts to defuse regional tensions.
