Hamas has alleged that Israeli forces carried out a “massacre” in Jabalia, northern Gaza, and that the killings were carried out under the orders of the United States.
Israeli forces attacked a residential area in Jabalia late on Friday night. In which at least 22 people were killed and more than 90 were injured.
Condemning the attack, Hamas said in a statement released on Saturday that Israeli forces carried out a “brutal massacre” of civilians in the Gaza Strip’s Jabalia area with heavy bombardment. Many people were killed and injured due to this attack.
Jabalia is one of the most densely populated areas in the Gaza Strip. where thousands of people live. Israeli attacks across the besieged Gaza Strip have increased dramatically in recent times. As a result, civilians have suffered the most.
Hamas also alleged that Israel was carrying out these attacks under the full support and protection of the United States and that the violence was a gross violation of international human rights.
Hamas said the attacks were part of Israel’s “genocide policy” aimed at wiping out Palestinians from Gaza.
The Palestinian Liberation Organization has also called on the international community to take swift action to stop this “genocide” by Israel.
On October 7 last year, Israel launched an attack on Gaza in retaliation for Hamas attacks on Israeli bases across the border, which are still ongoing.
According to local health officials in Gaza, 42,175 Palestinians have been killed so far in the ongoing offensive. Most of them are women and children. Apart from this, about 100,000 people were injured.
In addition, the ongoing blockade has exacerbated the shortage of food, clean water and medicine. As a result, almost the entire population of Gaza has been forced to flee their homes.
