Israel Destroys 815 Mosques in Gaza in 2024

The Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs said in a report that Israeli forces destroyed 815 mosques in 2024 and partially damaged 151 mosques.

Wafa News Agency reported that 19 cemeteries were destroyed, graves were broken into and bodies were exhumed.

Three churches in Gaza City were also attacked and destroyed in the Israeli attack.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces killed at least 88 Palestinians in a single day in Gaza. They bombed the enclave more than 100 times in just three days, killing more than 200 Palestinians, most of them women and children.

At least 45,805 Palestinians have been killed and 109,064 injured in Israel’s war in Gaza since October 7, 2023. At least 1,139 people were killed and more than 200 were captured in Israel in Hamas-led attacks that day.
