Iran has threatened to attack Israel again. Hossein Salami, the head of the country’s Revolutionary Guards, said Tel Aviv would face an attack they could not even imagine. However, when, where and how this attack will happen is uncertain, Salami said.

Last July, Ismail Haniya, the head of the political wing of the Palestinian armed organization Hamas, was killed in Tehran. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei announced an attack on Israel, blaming Tel Aviv for the killings. Since then, tensions have been running high across the Middle East. Tel Aviv still fears Tehran could strike at any moment, burning with revenge.

In the meantime, Iran threatened Israel again on the issue of Haniya’s murder. Hossein Salami, the head of the country’s Revolutionary Guards, said, “Israel must suffer the bitter taste of what it has done.” Salami also said that the retaliatory measures for the killing of Haniya in Tehran will be different this time.

This Iranian commander also said that Israel is trembling in the nightmare of a possible attack by Tehran.

Meanwhile, Russia has sided with Iran, ignoring the bloodshed of the EU over the ongoing tension with Israel and the issue of missile supply to the Russian forces fighting in Ukraine. Moscow has given Tehran the status of its important partner. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced the new height of Russia’s relations with Iran.

The United States said on Friday that Iran’s delivery of any ballistic missile to Russia would be considered a serious escalation in the war in Ukraine. However, Iran has denied the delivery of such missiles.

In a press conference on Monday, the spokesman of the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Kanani, on the contrary, put the blame on the shoulders of the United States, saying that the accusers against Iran are the largest supplier of weapons to one side of this war.
