Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken discussed Israel’s war in Gaza and the tense situation in Jerusalem.

They had a phone call on Sunday (March 17). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Jordan gave this information in a statement. Turkish news agency Anadolu Agency reported this news.

The statement said Safadi “received a phone call today from US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.” The two discussed efforts to reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and to send adequate and sustained humanitarian aid.
