US Vice President Kamala Harris has given a warning message about Israel’s operation in Rafah, southern Gaza. He called any attack on Rafah a ‘big mistake’ despite all the warnings.
“We have confirmed through multiple conversations and every avenue that any Israeli military operation in Rafah would be a huge mistake,” Harris told ABC News, according to an Anadolu Agency report on Monday.
He further said, ‘I have studied the maps. Palestinians have nowhere to go when the attacks start.’
Asked if the US was likely to take any action in response to the Israeli attack on Rafah, Harris said they would “take it step by step”.

However, he also mentioned that there is no alternative to discuss this issue.
Asked if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was standing in the way of peace, Harris told ABC News, “We will continue to prioritize our actions on Gaza.”
In an interview with ABC News, Harris opposed the killing of innocent Palestinians. At the time, he also said that the right of both Israelis and Palestinians to live in ‘equal security and dignity’ should be guaranteed.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken warned that a major Israeli attack on Rafah in southern Gaza would be “a mistake”. He made the warning to Israel at a press conference in Cairo, Egypt, on Thursday.
