Recently Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim accused the former Prime Minister of corruption and the investigation is ongoing.

Referring to Anwar Ibrahim, Mahathir Mohamad said in an interview given to Al Jazeera, a Qatar-based media, “If there is evidence of embezzlement against me, present it to the court.” In my long political career, the amount I received as a salary during my tenure as Prime Minister was more for me.
