Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the Gaza offensive led by the Netanyahu government now poses a threat to the world order outside the Middle East.
He said these things at a joint press conference after meeting with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama on Thursday (October 10). News from AFP.
Erdogan said, I will tell the international community – we must do everything possible to immediately guarantee a permanent ceasefire and apply the necessary pressure on Israel.
He also said that the genocide that has been going on in Gaza for the past one year is a shame for the entire humanity.
At the press conference, Erdogan again called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the “butcher of Gaza” and compared him to Nazi Germany’s Adolf Hitler.
Erdoğan said that Israeli forces continue to carry out brutal massacres in Gaza. It is a great shame for humanity.
It should be noted that since the unprecedented cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7, Israel has been carrying out continuous air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip. Thousands of buildings including hospitals, schools, refugee camps, mosques, churches have been damaged or destroyed in this Israeli attack. With this, the total number of people killed in the valley has exceeded 42 thousand 65 people. In addition, more than 97,000 Palestinians have been injured in this attack since October last year.
In addition, more than two million residents have been forced to leave their homes due to Israeli aggression.
According to the United Nations, about 85 percent of Gaza’s Palestinians have been displaced by Israel’s brutal offensive. And with acute shortages of food, clean water and medicine, all of Gaza is now food insecure.
In addition, 60 percent of the infrastructure in the besieged territory has been damaged or destroyed. Israel has already been accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice.
