When will Ramadan start in 2025, the UAE has announced

The holy month of Ramadan is knocking on the door again every year. According to the Hijri calendar, the ninth month is called the month of Ramadan. Muslims observe the obligatory fast in this month.

In the meantime, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the possible date for the start of Ramadan. The Emeritus Astronomy Society said on Monday that fasting in the country may begin on March 1, 2025. Before that, the moon of the Hijri month of Ramadan may be seen in the sky. Gulf News reports.

This Middle East-based media outlet said that the countdown to the holy month of Ramadan has begun. There are four months left. At such a time, the Emeritus Astronomy Society has predicted the start of the month of Ramadan.

The Emeritus Astronomy Society says that the start of Ramadan depends on the sighting of the moon of the Hijri month of Jamadiul Awal. The moon of this fifth month of Hijri may be seen on November 3.

And only then can we guess when Ramadan might start this time.

Ibrahim Al Jarwan, chairman of The Emeritus Astronomy Society, told Gulf News that Ramadan could possibly start in the Emirates on March 1 next year. Although everything depends on the sighting of the moon.
