Pentagon has given new information about the North Korean troops in the Ukraine war

North Korean troops will soon participate in the war against Ukraine on behalf of Russia. The United States has said that these troops will be able to recover the occupied territory on the border.
On Saturday (November 23), the head of the country’s Defense Department, Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin, said this. Al Arabiya reported.
He said that they believe that about 10,000 North Korean troops have taken positions in the Kursk region of the Russian border. They will participate in the war against Ukraine on behalf of Russia.
While in the Pacific country of Fiji, Austin said, “North Korean troops are being trained based on the Russian structure. Hopefully they will participate in the war soon.”
Austin also said that he does not know the specific date when they will participate in the battlefield.
Meanwhile, South Korean officials and a research group said on Thursday that Russia is providing Pyongyang with economic support, including oil and air defense systems, in return for sending troops.
Moscow warned Ukraine that it was preparing 50,000 troops to counter North Korea’s military deployment. These troops would be able to reclaim territory seized along the border.
