This is what the Chinese president said as he mourned Raisi’s death

Chinese President Xi Jinping is deeply saddened by the death of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi. Said, China has lost a good friend. Raisi’s unfortunate death is a great loss to the people of Iran and China has lost a good friend. The Chinese government and people cherish friendship with Iran. China will continue to deepen and develop the partnership (left by Raisi).
He said this in a condolence message on Monday (May 20).
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country said that China is deeply saddened by the death of President Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian. Chinese President Xi Jinping has sent a condolence message to Iran.
Xi said in the condolence message that Raisi has contributed greatly to peace and stability in Iran. He played an important role in consolidating China-Iran strategic partnership. Besides, China expressed great concern over the incident and promised to support Iran in any way possible.
Last Sunday, the helicopter carrying Raisi suffered an accident near Zolfa area of East Azerbaijan province of Iran. The wreckage of the helicopter was found on Monday, about 16 hours after the crash. President Raisi along with his associates died in this accident.
