Houthi rebels in Yemen have threatened to attack Saudi Arabia. The powerful armed group has even released drone footage of several sensitive locations in Saudi Arabia.
Yemen’s Houthi rebels released a video last Monday, according to Middle East Monitor. The title of the video is ‘Just Try It’.
Basically, the West has been carrying out airstrikes against the Houthis in Yemen for months. Despite trying for so long, they could not stop this pro-Iranian group. However, this time they are trying to join Saudi Arabia against the Houthis, the Yemeni group has alleged.
The video, released by the Houthi media department, shows photos and drone footage of key installations such as Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport, Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport, Dammam’s King Fahd International Airport, Ras Tanura, Jizan and Jeddah ports.
Houthi leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi spoke in the background of this video. He said, the Americans have sent us a message that they will push the Saudi government towards aggressive action and for that purpose the Americans have visited Saudi Arabia.
In a direct message to Saudi Arabia, Abdul Malik said, America is trying to trap you. If you want it too, try it. And if you want your own good, stability of your country and economy, then stop your conspiracy against our country.
He also said, if the Americans trap you, it will be a terrible stupidity and a big failure of yours. It is our right to counter any offensive action in this regard.
It should be noted that Israel started attacking Gaza from October 7. Since the attack on the country, the Houthis have been supporting the Palestinian independence organization Hamas. As part of this, the Houthis have been attacking Israeli and Western ships in the Red Sea, Bab El Mandeb and the Gulf of Aden since last November.
