Trump’s AI advisor is Bharatiya Krishnan

Indian-origin entrepreneur Sriram Krishnan has been appointed as an artificial intelligence (AI) advisor by the newly elected US President Donald Trump. Indian media NDTV reported on Monday that Krishnan will work as a senior advisor in the White House’s policy-making on artificial intelligence.
In a statement regarding Krishnan’s appointment, Donald Trump said that Krishnan will determine the government’s policies on artificial intelligence. He will also work as a special advisor to the President on science and technology. Sriram Krishnan was born in Chennai, India. He graduated in information technology from SRM Engineering College in Tamil Nadu. Then in 2005, at the age of 21, he moved to the United States. Krishnan started working under Microsoft since 2005.
He has also worked in famous tech companies like Twitter, Yahoo, and Facebook. Meanwhile, many are asking how Sriram, an ordinary corporate employee, made political connections.
It is known that this Indian-origin engineer is very good friends with Tesla founder Elon Musk. He worked with Musk when he transformed the social media platform Twitter into X.
Apart from this, Krishnan is also involved with the Indian fintech company Creed. He also broadcasts a podcast with his wife Aarti.
US-India relations are now quite good. Therefore, Donald Trump is placing great trust in the Indian-origin person. Earlier, Trump chose Indian-origin Kash Patel as the head of the country’s central investigation agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He has indicated that he will replace the current FBI chief Christopher Wray and appoint him to this position. Trump said that Kash is an excellent lawyer, investigator and a good fighter.
When Trump was president from 2016 to 2020, Kash was an official of the US National Security Council. He was also the Chief of Staff to the Minister of Defense at the time.
