Turkish and Jordanian authorities will coordinate joint efforts for the development of Syria, including transportation, energy, food security and agriculture.”

Stating that the permanent stability and security of Syria are very important for both Turkey and Jordan as neighboring countries, Fidan said, “We agree that we should support and show solidarity with our Syrian brothers in their efforts to establish a new administration.”

The Turkish Foreign Minister also said that the platform created by Turkey and Jordan is open to other neighboring countries such as Iraq and Lebanon. So that all regional stakeholders can work together to strengthen regional cooperation and stability.

On the other hand, Jordan’s top diplomat Safadi emphasized that we are both neighboring countries. The stability of Syria is the stability of Jordan and Turkey. We, the Syrian people, are interested in their sovereign state and their independence. We have full support for the new administration.
