Occupying Israel has killed 7 aid workers in an airstrike in the besieged Gaza Strip. Among the dead are citizens of Australia, Poland, United Kingdom and joint US-Canada.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has opened his mouth after this murder. On Tuesday, he claimed that their troops had attacked the aid workers unintentionally. And such mistakes happen on the battlefield.

In a video message, Netanyahu said, “Unfortunately, a tragic incident happened last day.” Our forces have unintentionally harmed non-combatants in the Gaza Strip.

He was saying, this is what happens in war. However, we are contacting the government for a thorough investigation into the incident. We will do whatever it takes to prevent a repeat of such an incident.

The Israeli military has expressed “sincere regret” for this unexpected incident. They promised to investigate the incident by an “independent, professional and expert body”.

All of the aid workers killed in the Israeli attack in Gaza were working for the World Central Kitchen (WCK). At the time of the attack, they left food in a warehouse. Then their convoy was attacked.

Among the seven people killed in Monday’s attack on the World Central Kitchen fleet were citizens of Australia, Britain and Poland, as well as a Palestinian and a dual citizen of the US and Canada.
