Blogger Abu Kaiser Found After 104 Days of Disappearance

News Desk: After 104 days of being missing since the night of February 11, the well-known Bangladeshi blogger, Abu Kaiser, was finally located. At 6 AM on May 26, the police from Kafrul Thana rescued him near the Shah Ali Mazar in Mirpur.
In response to the successful recovery, Officer-in-Charge Mo. Ataur Rahman of Kafrul Police Station expressed their relentless efforts in collaboration with the intelligence agencies. He emphasized the significance of every citizen’s life and assured that the authorities are committed to ensuring the safety and security of the people.
Upon being found, Abu Kaiser addressed reporters, confirming that he is in good health. He explained that he had left his studio on the night of February 11 after practicing religious activities and lost his mobile phone on the way. As a result, he was unable to communicate with his family for an extended period. During the four months, he focused on religious preaching.
The police clarified that Abu Kaiser’s absence was primarily due to personal reasons and not driven by any political motives. They emphasized that their efforts were solely aimed at reuniting him with his family.
Shima Akter, Abu Kaiser’s wife, had filed a General Diary at Mirpur Police Station on February 12 regarding his disappearance. On February 20, she had appealed to the Prime Minister for assistance in bringing her husband back. Ninety-five days after the incident, Shima Akter’s plea for her husband’s return was finally answered when Abu Kaiser was found.
The blogger’s return brings relief to his family, and the incident sheds light on the importance of ensuring the safety and security of individuals in society.
