Ceasefire talks are going to start again tomorrow Sunday in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, to ensure the end of Israel’s barbaric attacks on Gaza and the release of Israeli hostages from the Palestinian armed group Hamas. However, Hamas will not accept any conditions other than a permanent cease-fire in Gaza, said Ismail Haniya, the head of the party.
Ismail Hania said that any talks should be based on a permanent ceasefire.
Bassim Naim, another leader of the Palestinian armed group, said that they will not deviate from their main conditions. That means a permanent cease-fire agreement in Gaza and the withdrawal of all Israeli troops from Gaza.
He said, the ball is not in our court. Tell those who want to continue the occupation of the Gaza Strip.
CIA chief Bill Barnes will participate in the discussion. Besides, Egypt’s intelligence chief will also attend the discussion.
Incidentally, Hamas has agreed to sit in the ceasefire talks again at Egypt’s invitation.
US President Joe Biden sent a letter to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. He said that they should pressure Hamas to agree to the ceasefire talks.
