The Kuwaiti government has announced a general amnesty from March 17 to June 17 for illegal expatriates who violate Akama law.
On Thursday, citing the Ministry of Home Affairs, several media outlets of the country published this news.
It is mentioned in the news that during the amnesty period of 3 months, illegal immigrants will be able to go to their country without any kind of jail-fine. If you want, you can enter again with a new visa.
Apart from this, after paying the fine through the specified process, you will also get the opportunity to renew the Akama after it becomes valid.
According to the news, in the month of Ramadan, Kuwait announced a general amnesty for illegal expatriates who violated the Akama law from March 17 to June 17 of this month in order to consolidate the humanitarian role at all levels of the state in order to take over the rule of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Sabah.
It is also said in the news, if there is any criminal charge against someone, then it must be confirmed whether he can take the amnesty opportunity by contacting the designated office. Illegal immigrants who lose their legal status and do not leave Kuwait within the amnesty deadline will be blacklisted and prosecuted.
Earlier in 2018, among the 15 to 17 thousand illegal immigrants Bangladeshis, about 8 thousand Bangladeshis took the opportunity of amnesty.
