The whole of Malaysia is festive and colorfully decorated around Christmas, the main religious festival of Christians. Various institutions, shopping malls and homes are decorated with lights.
On Friday (December 20), it was seen on the spot that shopping malls in Malaysia are decorated with Christmas trees and LED lights to celebrate Christmas. The Christmas tree is sparkling with the light of thousands of LED lights.
This is how the country’s Christians are celebrating Christmas around the birthday of Jesus Christ on December 25.
Tourists from different countries, including local Christians, are flocking to the shopping malls to see these lights around Christmas. Bangladeshi tourists and expatriate Bangladeshis are also flocking to see the arrangements for this festival.
Various shopping malls have given discounts on various products focusing on this special day. Christmas is celebrated through social rituals such as gift giving, church services, family gatherings, music, exchanging Christmas cards, home decorations, Christmas tree lighting, a special display of decorations including a nativity scene and holly. In addition, the fairy tale of Father Christmas bringing gifts to children is quite popular.
For young children and teenagers, Santa Claus is one of the attractions of Christmas. Adults also rejoice in the joy of children and teenagers. They come out of the monotonous life of the whole year and join the joy of Christmas with their families.

On Christmas Day or Christmas festivals, an old man is seen standing with gifts. He has a special hat on his head, a special red dress on his body and a white beard on his face. This is called Santa Claus. Santa Claus is a special character originally from Christianity. He is said to be the symbol of the Christmas spirit.
