The death toll from a missile attack on a soccer field in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights has risen to 12. Besides, at least 13 people were injured. Tel Aviv has accused Lebanon’s resistance fighters, Hezbollah, of the attack.

Reuters reported that the attack happened on Saturday (July 27).

Tel Aviv has warned that Hezbollah will pay a heavy price for the attack. However, Hezbollah has denied responsibility for the attack.

Lebanese resistance fighters Hezbollah denied responsibility for the first attack in Tel Aviv since the start of the Israeli offensive in Gaza.

The missile attack was carried out on a football field in the Druze village of Majdal Sams in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. When the Middle East war started in 1967, Israel captured the Golan Heights from Syria. Most of the world did not recognize Israel’s decision to occupy it.

Meanwhile, Israel issued a statement blaming Hezbollah for the missile attack on the football field. It has been said that Hezbollah will have to pay a huge price for this incident, which they cannot even imagine. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said this in a phone call with the Druze community.

On the other hand, Hezbollah said in a statement that Israel’s allegations are completely false. The attack has nothing to do with the resistance fighters Hezbollah.
