Netanyahu is preparing to start a new war in Gaza

The ceasefire between the Palestinian armed group Hamas and the occupying Israel began on January 19. It has been done in three phases. The first phase is valid for 42 days.

The terms of the agreement state that negotiations on the second phase will begin on the 16th day of the first phase and that the war in Gaza will be permanently stopped with the start of this phase. The reconstruction of Gaza will begin in the last phase.

However, several Israeli sources told Haaretz that Netanyahu does not want to go to the second phase of the ceasefire. He is preparing to start the war in Gaza again.

Netanyahu has sent a delegation to Doha, Qatar to discuss the second phase. However, they have not been given any authority to discuss the implementation of the second phase.

Incidentally, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, more than 48,000 people have died in the long-running fighting in the region. More than 111,000 have been injured. Meanwhile, the media office of the valley has also added the missing to the death list. This brings the total death toll to more than 61,000.
