Son of Israeli parliament security chief killed in Gaza

The son of the head of the Security and Foreign Relations Commission of the Israeli Parliament (Knesset) has been killed in southern Gaza.

The Israeli army confirmed this information in a statement on Wednesday.

The Israeli army said that the name of the deceased was Amit Friedman (19). He was a soldier with the rank of Staff Sergeant in the Israeli Army.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Wednesday that Amit Friedman was attached to the 932nd Battalion of the Or Yehudastha Nahal Brigade. He was killed fighting with Hamas in southern Gaza. The number of Israeli soldiers killed in the ongoing war with him has increased to 703 people.
