The death toll in Gaza exceeded 33,000

The death toll from Israel’s indiscriminate airstrikes in the besieged Gaza Strip has exceeded 33,000.

The Health Ministry of the Hamas-controlled region confirmed this information on Thursday. News from AFP.

According to the Ministry of Health, 62 more people have been killed in the last 24 hours. 91 people were injured.

According to the report of AFP, the Israeli forces have killed 33 thousand 37 people in the last 6 months in the ongoing Israeli attack on Gaza since October 7 last year. Another 75 thousand 668 people were injured. Most of the casualties were women and children.

Israel does not stop killing civilians including women and children, it is also attacking the relief convoys that came to help the war-torn people. The aid organization World Central Kitchen (WCK) has announced the suspension of operations in Gaza due to security issues after seven of its workers were killed in an Israeli airstrike on an aid convoy.

US aid agencies have also suspended their operations out of concern for the safety of local workers. According to the BBC report, these two aid agencies together delivered two million food packets to Gaza every week.

“For Gazans, the closure of the WCC means more famine, more dead children and more epidemics of extreme malnutrition,” said Jan Egeland, secretary general of the Norwegian Refugee Council.

US President Joe Biden has also accused Israel of not doing enough to protect aid workers. And UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak spoke about the issue in a phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Referring to the existing situation in Gaza as unbearable, he demanded a transparent, independent and thorough investigation of the murder. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the killing of aid workers by the military is absolutely unacceptable.
