Women passengers ‘fight’ in mid-air, plane makes emergency landing

A Kuwait Airways flight from Thailand to Kuwait was forced to make an emergency landing in Bangkok after some female passengers got into a mid-air fight.
Gulf News reported in a report that this incident happened on a Kuwait Airways flight from Thailand to Kuwait last Friday. The women also assaulted the flight security officer while trying to control the situation. Later, the accused passengers were arrested.
According to the report, some women passengers got into an argument while the flight was mid-air. Some of them ‘behaved violently’. The situation reached such a level that even the flight security officer was assaulted.
Later, due to the behavior of the passengers in mid-air, the pilot of the plane decided to change the course of the flight and make an emergency landing at the Bangkok International Airport. The flight landed in Bangkok considering the safety and security of the other passengers and crew of the aircraft.
After the flight returned to Kuwait from Bangkok, the Kuwaiti Public Prosecution Department detained several female passengers on the plane for ‘engaging in violent acts’. All of them are said to be Kuwaiti nationals.
A complaint has been filed against them and investigation is on, reports said.
