10 people, including a sister of Hamas leader Ismail Haniya, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Shati camp in Gaza City. Anadolu Agency reported this information in a report.
Israel killed Haniyah’s three sons last April. According to Hamas, four of his grandchildren (three daughters and one son) were also killed. At that time, this Qatar-based political leader told Al Jazeera, “I thank God for giving them the honor of martyrdom.”
Earlier this year, Israeli police arrested one of Hania’s sisters, an Israeli citizen living in Tel Sheva. The Hamas leader’s three sisters live in the southern city and are married to Arab Israelis.
Later that year, Haniya requested Israel to allow her sisters to attend her son’s wedding in Gaza. But Israel denies it.
Perstoday reported that Israel’s occupation forces killed at least 14 members of Ismail Haniya’s family in several rounds of airstrikes in the Gaza Strip.
It should be noted that on the 7th of October last year, the Hamas government of Gaza launched the biggest military operation of this decade in Israel. Immediately after this, Israel began airstrikes and ground attacks on Gaza. More than 37,000 Palestinians have been killed so far, most of them women and children. The injured have exceeded a million.
