Israel is the biggest threat to regional and world peace: Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called Israel the most direct threat to regional and global peace. He said, those who are responsible for maintaining world peace, must put an end to this menace.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday after a visit to Serbia and Albania, Erdogan said Israel is not only targeting the stability of Palestine, but also hurting the stability of Lebanon and trying to spread unrest in the surrounding region.

At this time, Erdoğan warned that Israel’s ongoing aggression cannot be ignored.

The Turkish president also mentioned that in the current situation, the Turkish intelligence agency is closely monitoring Tel Aviv’s activities and possible actions against Turkey.

Erdogan warned, “The dream of Netanyahu and his cronies will turn into a nightmare.” Also, Palestine will be free and Lebanon will be free.

At this time, regarding the massacre of Gaza, he said, the massacre of the people of Gaza is happening in front of everyone’s eyes and it will remain one of the most shameful chapters in human history. Those who stand by ‘terrorist Israel’ will bear the stigma of this shame for generations to come.

Türkiye is committed to regional peace and stability

Meanwhile, Erdogan reiterated Turkey’s commitment to ensuring peace and stability in the Balkan region, calling his recent visits to Albania and Serbia “very fruitful in bilateral relations.”

During the visit, Erdogan discussed political and military cooperation with Albanian President Bajram Begaz and reiterated Turkey’s commitment to fighting terrorist organizations, especially FETO.

He inaugurated the Namazgah Mosque, the largest mosque built by Turkey in the Balkan region. Which will serve not only as a place of worship but also as a cultural center.

Israeli action plans in Lebanon and Syria

Regarding Israel’s activities and plans in Lebanon and Syria, Erdogan said, “If Israel occupies Damascus, the occupiers will move closer to the Turkish border.” Israel may have a plan in this regard, but Allah is the highest and the best planner.

Relations with Greece and ethnic tensions in the Balkans

Erdogan also highlighted the importance of Turkey’s relations and dialogue with Greece. He said, “The principle of good neighborliness is the key to come up with a mutually beneficial solution”. He also reiterated Turkey’s commitment to peace in the context of rising ethnic tensions in Kosovo.

The Turkish president finally called for regional solidarity, saying, “We must protect this region through solidarity.”
