Israeli occupation forces continue to attack the besieged Gaza Strip. In the last 24 hours, 81 more Palestinians were killed and 189 injured in Israeli attacks.

Al Jazeera, a Qatar-based media outlet, reported this information about the Gaza Ministry of Health on Wednesday.

According to the report, since October 7, the number of dead in the Israeli attack in Gaza has increased to 38 thousand 794 people and the number of injured has increased to 89 thousand 364 people.

In response to the deadly attack by Hamas, the ruling party in Gaza, which entered Israel on October 7 last year, Israel has been carrying out almost non-stop attacks on the Valley. 1,200 Israelis were killed in the attack by Hamas. On that day, more than 250 Israelis were captured and brought to Gaza by armed Palestinians.

In response to that attack, the occupying Israel started an indiscriminate attack on Gaza. Civilian establishments like schools, hospitals, mosques and churches were not spared from their attacks.

Many people buried under the rubble of various buildings in the attack are missing. They are presumed dead.

Palestinian health authorities estimate that more than 10,000 people are still missing under the rubble of destroyed homes across the Gaza Strip.

Israel has faced international condemnation amid its continued brutal attacks on Gaza since October 7, rejecting a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire.

The latest ruling also ordered Israel, accused of genocide by the International Court of Justice, to immediately end its military operations in the southern city of Rafah. Where more than 1 million Palestinians took shelter to save their lives before the attack on May 6.

Despite this, even in these areas, which are declared safe zones, Israel continues to kill people in one attack after another. Over 9 months of Israeli occupation, vast swaths of Gaza have been reduced to rubble and death under blockades of food, clean water and medicine.
